Tandy Jouret serves as Shields Legal’s Transactions Leader. Tandy’s primary focus is corporate, finance, and mergers and acquisitions across a number of industries including commercial real estate, private equity and investment management transactions.  Tandy represents corporate clients, entrepreneurs and family offices in connection with a variety of strategic transactions, capital formation and corporate governance, and has extensive experience with lender transactions, commercial real estate, and investment fund and asset management.

• Represented lead investor in $300MM dollar asset acquisition of life science facilities in multiple states
• Represented medical technology company through multiple rounds of preferred investor financing and strategic acquisitions
• Represented lead investor in investment in participation in multiple investments in light industrial properties in multiple states through complex investment structure and 1031 exchanges
• Representation of investment fund in participation in sponsor-led real estate syndication
• Represented real estate investment fund in participation in multi-state investment in light industrial new construction
• Transaction counsel to regional transportation and logistics company, negotiated, drafted, and closed stock sale to financial investor
• On behalf of commercial real estate developer and operator, completed tax- focused reorganization with ownership structure, management operations company, and partnership carried interest
• Advised, drafted, negotiated, and closed all documents related to borrower’s $10MM credit facility, including the master credit facility and all necessary subscription and organizational documents for the lead investor
• On behalf of sponsor and lead investor, negotiated and closed $80MM commercial office building acquisition and construction for Houston based hospitality group
• Represented investor in acquisition of private sports and lifestyle club including real estate and operations
• Represented hospitality and private club investor in acquisition of prominent country clubs in Texas
• Represented marina owner in sale of major lake marina including real estate and operations in Texas
• Represented nationwide company with negotiation of commercial leases in multiple states
• Represented nationwide office share firm in license and lease negotiations in multiple states
• Represented commercial banks in commercial loan transactions and prepared loan agreements and bank closings in real estate transactions in multiple states
• Represented buyers and sellers in commercial real estate negotiation and sales and acquisitions for development, commercial, office, and industrial properties in multiple states
• Represented nationwide health care financial services firm through growth to exit transaction and successful asset sale transaction including reorganization and growth activities
• Represented and closed sale of Texas-based industrial manufacturing business to industry leading buyer
• Represented and closed sale of Texas-based commercial gutter manufacturing and installation company to national buyer
• Represented and closed sale of marine trailer supplier company to national buyer
• Represented and closed sale of major commercial landscaping company to private equity buyer
• Represented national restaurant chain through sale of multiple locations and franchised locations to private equity buyer
• Represented and sold multiple dental and medical practices in Texas
