Texas Governor Calls for Cyber Command

During his annual State of the State address on Sunday, February 2nd, Texas Governor Greg Abbott revealed plans to establish the Texas Cyber Command, which will be based in San Antonio. This new command will develop a strategy to tackle the state’s cyber security issues. Gov. Abbott emphasized the urgency of addressing these concerns due to the rising number of cyber attacks across the country and the significance of Texas infrastructure to the national and global economies.
